1. CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIP
Please read these Terms and Conditions before using this site or any of The Laundorist's services. If you disagree with these Terms, please do not access the website or services.
These Terms (“Agreement”) apply to The Laundorist, LLC (“The Laundorist”) at thelaundorist.com, its mobile application, and other related services (“Services”).
By using our Services, you accept the terms of this Agreement and agree to our Privacy Policy. This Agreement supersedes prior agreements with you. We may update these Terms by posting changes here, and your continued use of our Services after any updates signifies your consent to the modified Agreement. We recommend you periodically review these Terms.
Additional terms may apply to specific events, promotions, or services and will be disclosed accordingly. In the event of a conflict, those terms will take precedence over this Agreement for applicable services.
2. SERVICES
The Laundorist provides on-demand laundry and delivery services, allowing users to schedule pickups and deliveries via our website or mobile app. After scheduling, a Laundorist representative will pick up and deliver the laundry as scheduled.
Ownership and Use Restrictions
The content, images, text, software, and all materials available on the Services (“Materials”) are the property of The Laundorist. Users may download one copy of these Materials for non-commercial, personal use, but may not copy, distribute, or modify Materials without written permission.
License
Subject to your compliance, The Laundorist grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use our Services on personal devices. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by The Laundorist.
3. USE OF SERVICES
User Accounts
To use most services, you must create an account and be at least 18 years old. Account registration requires your name, address, phone number, and a valid payment method. You’re responsible for all activity under your account and must keep your information accurate and secure.
Text Messages
By creating an account, you consent to receive text messages about your orders. To opt out, email support@thelaundorist.com or reply "STOP" to any message.
Promotional Codes
The Laundorist may offer promotional codes, which are subject to specified terms. Promo codes may not be duplicated or transferred without permission and can be disabled at any time.
Network Access
You are responsible for the data necessary to access our Services. The Laundorist is not responsible for any fees or hardware compatibility issues related to using our Services.
4. DAMAGED OR LOST ITEMS
We prioritize the care of your garments and take responsibility for any missing or damaged items. Missing items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery to our support team at 1-888-779-0792 or via hello@thelaundorist.com.
Reimbursement Guidelines
For lost items, we may reimburse up to five times the cleaning cost or a maximum of $1,000, whichever is lower. Damaged items can be reported within 24 hours. Reimbursement will not apply to damage caused by factors such as incorrect service selection or items placed in incorrect bags.
For hang dry items, we cannot guarantee full dryness and recommend further air drying upon delivery. We are not responsible for color bleeding or musty odors associated with hang drying.
5. PICKUP AND DELIVERY
If you cancel a pickup or delivery less than 1 hour before the scheduled time, or if delivery cannot be completed due to absence, we may charge a cancellation fee.
Deliveries can be left outside your residence or with a doorman if you give consent. Once delivery is completed, The Laundorist is not liable for loss or damage of items.
6. PAYMENT
Charges for services are processed upon completion. All charges are final unless otherwise determined by The Laundorist.
7. DISCLAIMERS AND LIABILITY
The Services are provided “as is” without warranties. The Laundorist is not liable for damages arising from the use of the Services beyond amounts paid for services.
8. GOVERNING LAW AND ARBITRATION
This Agreement is governed by New Jersey law. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, waiving the right to a jury trial.
